Essential Functions

  • Collaborate across the enterprise to identify analytic gaps and prioritize the build of solutions.

  • Develop new and build improvements on existing reports and dashboards using Tableau.

  • Work with core analytic team to share data model and query needs to support analytic solutions.

A Day in the Life:

  • Serve as a business partner to clients and executives to understand their analytic needs.

  • Collaborate with analytic team to objectively assess new report and change requests against current technical capabilities.

  • Build and publish customized, interactive Tableau reports and dashboards using stack bars, scatterplots, geographical maps, and other innovative plot and chart tools.

  • Act as a subject matter expert on data refresh scheduling and work cross-collaboratively to modify schedules on Tableau Server.

  • Perform detailed data analysis of data structures, content, and quality, and provide data dictionaries for all new Tableau solutions.

  • Ability to push Tableau solutions to Tableau Server, and connect with production servers.

  • Actionable and interactive dashboards and reports.

  • Interpretable and relevant metrics that support the enterprise.

Requirements:

We are excited about you if you have these things:

  • 2–5 years of Tableau development experience.

  • Tableau Desktop Certified Professional (not required).

  • Experience with Python and SQL.

  • Ability to translate business requirements to technical requirements.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to articulate complex solutions.
